Another Irish band. This time a bunch of lads from the Dublin / Wicklow scene of the late 1990s. RESIDENCE were a 4 piece Hardcore unit who played USHC influence music. They gigged a lot and were a breath of fresh air in the scene at the time.. This is their 4 track demo, which rules !! Enjoy.

Hello mate. I would like to apologize in advance for what will probably be a long message. First of all I wanted to say you're running a great blog here. I've always been fond of Irish music, and it's great to find a blog dedicated to it. I added your blog to two different categories on my music blogroll @ http://music-bloggers.blogspot.com, the first being the Punk/Hardcore category, and the second being the "World" category.

I was also hoping that you might be able to help me with a HUGE project that I am working on for my own music blog. We plan to share at least one album from every country in the world. If you had to choose, which album would you say would be the most badass album on this blog that would be suitable for representing Ireland. I will probably post at least a couple of different albums for each country, so as to give my visitors a nice overview of the different genres from each country, but I'm a big fan of punk rock, so it must be included.
